You know it's fall when the winter squash arrive! We grow a wide variety including Acorn, Butternut, Kabocha, Delicata, and Pie Pumpkins. Enjoy the unique flavors and the many ways you can prepare these squash.

Storage:
  • These squash store well for a long time. Keep them out of the fridge and notice how they get sweeter over time. Save butternuts for last because they store the best.

Cooking tips:
  • For pie pumpkins, roast them in the oven, scoop out the seeds and toast them. Then scoop out the flesh for soups or pies.
  • For Delicata, simply slice them into rounds, remove the seeds, and roast until soft in the oven. Top with just salt or maybe some maple syrup and warm spices like cinnamon or nutmeg. The skin is tender and edible.
  • Also called the Japanese pumpkin, Kabocha is particularly dense and creamy. Perfect for soups or really any dish that calls for pumpkin.
